The antigen rapid test has a minimum sensitivity of 92.9% and a specificity of 99.4% on the presence of COVID-19 virus. The reliability of the test runs from the first to the seventh day of illness and, if positive, indicates active infection. You are then contagious and can transmit the virus to other people.

If you experience symptoms or have come in contact with an infected person, it is best to test yourself. In addition, it is also smart to test yourself when you come in contact with large groups of people (such as when you go to an event or leave on a trip), to prevent the spread of the virus. Even when returning from such outings, we recommend that you take a COVID self-test.

Yes, upon completion of Easly’s antigen nasal test kit, you will receive a certificate stating whether you tested positive or negative.

The certificate you get from us with this COVID antigen self-test is in English. This contains your name, date of birth, nationality and the document number of your ID. It says when the antigen self-test was performed and reviewed, including the result of the test validated by one of our physicians.

You perform the rapid antigen test yourself. After you receive the Easly test kit, make an appointment for the test online. You can do this by scanning QR code on the box or via testing.easly.co.uk. Keep the booking code found in your confirmation email handy once you log in for your appointment. Also keep an original and valid ID (passport, driver’s license or ID card) handy for the verification process. Then, under the online guidance of one of our staff members, you perform the self-test. You get the result after only 15-20 minutes after sending the photo by mail.

For the antigen self-test, immediately after collection, the test is processed. Within 15-20 minutes of sending the photo, you will receive an email with the results. Much faster than a normal PCR test, where you have to allow for 24-72 hours.

If the result is positive, our medical team will contact you and further discuss with you the steps to follow.
