Glucose (Urine) Meaning<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A measure of the amount of sugar (glucose) in the urine, as an alternative to HbA1c. Normally, glucose should not be present in the urine. \nA glucose level in the urine between 0 and 0.79 mmol\/L is considered normal. This means that there is no or only a negligible amount of glucose in the urine, indicating good regulation of blood sugar levels.<\/p>\n

Caution:<\/strong>
\nA glucose level in the urine between 0.79 and 0.83 mmol\/L is considered “caution.” A negligible amount of glucose is detected in the urine, but the result is still within normal values and is considered good.<\/p>\n

High:<\/strong>
\nA glucose level in the urine above 0.83 mmol\/L is considered abnormal. This means that glucose is present in the urine, which could indicate elevated blood sugar levels and possibly a condition such as diabetes.<\/p>\n

Invalid:<\/strong>
\nA glucose level of 0 mmol\/L is considered invalid, possibly due to insufficient material for the test. It is recommended to repeat the test.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
